Three Generations Of Being A Family Owned Business.

Thanksgiving is a time when most people take off from work to reunite with family and friends. Gatherings are usually centered around a delicious feast and giving thanks for the good fortunes of the year. At Eudy’s Cabinets family time is every day! We are a family-owned and operated business so that means we don’t need to wait until the weekends or special holidays to connect with our loved ones. We place a lot of value on the concept of family. Not only do we consider our biological family a big part of our business but we also embrace our employees in the same respect. Many of them have been employed with us for years and we’ve built great relationships with them. As a strong unit, we have learned how to solve problems together, come up with new ideas together and as a result, we get to enjoy our triumphs together.

It all started with our late grandfather, Ernest Eudy. He built the company from the ground up and eventually passed it on to his sons. They then played their part in continuing the legacy before handing the leadership roles to their children. Ernest has seven grandchildren and, guess what,  six of them work at Eudy’s! We are now being led by our third-generation leaders. Some of the core values that have been passed on from generation to generation are:

Our employees are treated as more than just paid workers. We truly make an effort to get to know our employees as individuals. If someone is sick or out of work, you can bet everything that we’re all checking in to ensure that they are okay. At Eudy’s Cabinets, they are treated with compassion, professionalism, and the respect they deserve!

The community here, in the Carolinas, has done so much for us and our families, so we take the opportunity to give back whenever we can. We believe that our deeds live long after us, and they matter in transforming the society in which we live. We promise this Thanksgiving, to continue to play our part whenever we can!

How will we be spending this Thanksgiving?

We have a family tradition of gathering at the home of a family member and we all bring a special dish. We spend the day eating, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. We’ll share stories about working alongside our grandfather in the workshop, racing around the workshop on pallet jacks after school and using scrap wood to make toys. All the memories we’ve created at Eudy’s Cabinets will last a lifetime and make our hearts smile forever.

We understand that it’s not just the products and services you offer that makes a difference. It’s the human touch. It’s about going-the-extra-mile. The caring about every one of your customers and employees. That’s priceless!
