EUDY’S CABINETS CELEBRATES 45 YEARS IN BUSINESS

2008 marks 45 years in business for Eudy’s Cabinets. Throughout this time, we have seen the custom cabinet industry change dramatically. The cabinet building process itself has evolved from using simple hand tools to using six-figure computer-operated machinery to produce more elaborate cabinet designs. The materials used have also advanced from using simple plywood doors to the highest-quality materials available in custom cabinets.

When Eudy’s first started building cabinets, the cabinets were most often built unfinished and then installed in the house where they were usually painted by the customer. Now Eudy’s not only offers a wide variety of stain finishes, but also paints with glazes, distressing, and other ornamental design options.

The cabinet consumers have also changed over the years. When our company started out, the cabinets we built were simply a necessary part of a home’s kitchen and bath. Now, customers are building their new homes having done lots of research on the options available to them in custom cabinetry. They know what they want and they expect a certain level of quality in the products that they are purchasing for their homes. Cabinets have become more of a decorative feature throughout the home, moving beyond the kitchen and bath to media rooms, studies, bars, and more.

NEW LINE OF CABINET FINISHES COMING IN SPRING 2008

In celebration of our 45th year in business, Eudy’s will be introducing a new line of cabinet finishes in the spring. The finishes will include around 15 standard stain colors as well as a host of painted finishes. In addition, Eudy’s will be working with Sherwin-Williams to provide customers with other decorative colors and finishing techniques.

To display our new line of finishes, we will be revamping our showrooms at each location to present the latest in custom cabinet design. We will be hosting an open house in our newly remodeled Stanfield showroom in late spring to celebrate this occasion.

SHOWROOM OPENING IN NORTH MYRTLE BEACH

Our Chadbourn location is currently in the process of planning for the opening of our new showroom to serve the coastal market. The showroom, presently under construction, will be located off of Highway 90 in North Myrtle Beach. It is tentatively schedule to open in late spring of 2008. The showroom will include the full line of new colors being introduced this spring. Design consultant Carri Benson will be available to help customers make design and color selections for their custom cabinets. Please stay tuned for the exact opening date to be announced.

SHOWROOM OPENING IN HICKORY

Our Hickory location is also in the process of planning for the opening of a showroom to be located at the Hickory plant. It will display our new line of colors being introduced this spring and is tentatively scheduled to open in late spring
